DRIVER+ Trial Austria is being organised by the Austrian Red Cross (ARC) together with the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT). It will be conducted from 9th-15th September 2019 as a multi-day field exercise under the framework (and in parallel) of a Large Scale European Civil Protection exercise in Eisenerz, Austria.
The scenario of the trial will be a heavy earthquake in the local region of Eisenerz which requires a commitment of stakeholders from different crisis management levels and from different emergency responders.
Following a call for applications, five solutions were selected to be tested during the trial.
