Trialling Crisis Management Solutions

Overview

At a number of events staged throughout Europe, specialist Crisis Management teams have trialled a diverse range of different solutions under realistic conditions. These trials, held in Poland, France, The Netherlands and Austria, are helping Crisis Managers identify proven technologies and approaches for saving lives, protecting communities and caring for volunteers.

This is critically important work for a future in which climate change-related events – wildfires and floods – are likely to increase in frequency and severity, as well as persistent threats from earthquakes and terrorism.
