As a direct outcome of the first Policy Research Dialogue Roundtable held on 28th February 2019 in Brussels, a position paper on a European trial and validation framework to support Disaster Risk Reduction was published. The paper can be consulted here.
The first PRDR was particularly concerned with collecting thoughts and perspectives on three topics:
- The development of an innovation eco-system in the field of DRR and CM
- The improvement of information and results exchange between research projects, practitioner and knowledge networks
- The introduction of a Pan-European trial and validation framework into the research programming of Horizon Europe
